San
Carlos de Bariloche is perfectly
located amongst thousand of lakes,
rivers and the astonishing Andes
Mountains. It is considered the
Argentinean
ski capital and is one of the most
important ski and snowboard resorts in the world.
It takes only 15 minutes to travel
from the city center to the base
of Cerro Catedral (Cathedral Mountain)
to enjoy magic. The top of the
mountain, at 2,100 meters above
sea level, brings you some of the
most impressive views of the Andes
Mountain Range and the Patagonian
lakes. The resort has a new lift
system in that gives access to
new runs and trails for skiers,
snowboarders of all levels. The
resort offers 600 hectares of terrain
with a 960-meter long slope, more
than 120 kilometres of clearly
signalled paths and runs and an
exciting choice of off-piste skiing.
Every year San Carlos de Bariloche
hosts a myriad of winter sports
events and ski and snowboard races
such as Big Air, International
Ski Week, The Race of History,
Professionals’ Parallel,
Children’s Day Celebration
and the Journalists’ Race,
among others. Moreover, you can
enjoy other outdoor activities
in addition to downhill skiing
such as alpine skiing, cross country

Ushuaia is the main city in Tierra
del Fuego (the land of fire), the
gateway to Antarctica with its many
islands, channels, lakes, forests
and a large variety of flora and
fauna.

As you leave Ushuaia, visit Tierra
del Fuego National Park and El
Tren del Fin del Mundo (“End of
the World Train”) and Escondido
and Fagnano Lakes where you will
